Bad Teacher

This is supposed to be a parody of those teacher-student films, like Stand and Deliver from the eighties, and Dangerous Minds from the nineties. As a parody, though, it's not that funny.

True, there are some laugh-out-loud moments. But that's not enough to elevate this to the status of a comedy gem.

Not even on weed.

Justin Timberlake is such a great actor that he makes his goody two-shoes teacher really believable. Cameron Diaz doesn't seem to be acting at all that she makes her slutty character really believable. And I didn't know that these two used to date.

You can tell by their familiarity with the doggy style.

Anyway, how did Cameron Diaz end up with Jason Segel? That was poorly set up, writers, really. I can write that better than you. I should be in Hollywood.

Bad Teacher. USA. 2011.

Rating: Four out of ten.
Eric Stonestreet's performance: Eight out of ten.

Yes. Go forth and be in Hollywood. I'm serious.

And how do I do that? Hmmm...

You need to write two or three really kick-ass scripts, somehow get them registered under your name, or have sifficient proof that they're yours, just so some scumbag producer doesn't put them on stage or on the screen and pretend they wrote it. Then u go to movie studios in hollywood, and talk to producers, you sell yourself as good as u can, u try as many times as it takes, and don't let naysayers (they're everywhere, like roaches), bring you diwn or discourage you. You need to be a man on a mission: Getting your scripts read by the right people (that's why you have to talk to as many producers and media people as you can), and get them scripts made into a movie. You try hard enough, and if your writing is really as good ad you claim it is, then you will succeed. I can't wait for the premiere of your first Hollywood Blockbuster! Good luck, dude!
