Notes and Doodles on Paranormal Activity 3

1. Their house is really nice. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 floors, a garage, and the second bedroom's a loft. And their mom's what, 30? And she could afford it? Sweet.


2. My idea of the 80's in the U.S. is exaggerated, clearly. I hardly see big hair in the movie and feel weird about it, for one.


3. My mother-in-law is a mean old witch. Forrealz.



4. What they did with the bedsheet is nifty, and scary.


5. There's scaring people through suggestion, and then there's having an invisible force pull a kid by her hair.

6. Also, apparently, this movie is supposed to give context to the first two PA movies, which I haven't yet seen.

7. Those girls grow up to be cheesy, the kind of cheesy you get in a variety show.

8. Maybe I'll give this movie a 6/10 because the scary parts are really actually scary.
